OEKO-TEX® is an international certification that ensures textiles are tested for harmful substances. This means the fabrics are safe to use and suitable for everyday contact.
2. What do the fabric specifications mean? add
All our fabrics are developed for everyday use. Fabric specifications provide a clear understanding of how each textile performs over time.
Martindale indicates a fabric’s resistance to abrasion. The higher the number, the more durable the fabric and the better it performs with frequent use.
Pilling describes how easily small fibres form on the surface of the fabric. It is measured on a scale from 1 to 5, where 5 indicates the least pilling.
Light fastness shows how well a fabric resists fading from sunlight. It is measured on a scale from 1 to 8, where higher values indicate better resistance to light.
