A sofa bed is much more than an extra bed for occasional guests. It is a multifunctional piece of furniture designed to make better use of the space you already have – combining the comfort and appearance of a sofa with the possibility of creating an additional sleeping space when needed.

Can a sofa bed be your everyday sofa?
Absolutely. A modern sofa bed does not have to look like a traditional sleeper sofa. Many of our designs are created first and foremost as contemporary sofas, with comfort, proportions and aesthetics suited for the living room. The bed function is simply there when you need it.
Depending on the design, a sofa bed can also offer adjustable backrests, different comfort positions, hidden storage, chaise longue configurations or modular possibilities. In other words, the functionality is there – you just don't necessarily see it.
A sofa bed for the living room
Sofa beds are often associated with guest rooms, teenage rooms and small apartments. But why reserve multifunctionality for rooms you use less?
A sofa bed can be an excellent choice for the living room, especially if you want your furniture to adapt to different situations. During the day, it functions as your everyday sofa. In the evening, it can become a spacious lounger, and when friends or family stay overnight, it provides an additional bed.
For smaller homes, this means one piece of furniture can perform several functions without permanently taking up the space of both a sofa and a bed.
Turn your home office into a guest room
If your home office only occasionally needs to accommodate overnight guests, a sofa bed can help one room serve two very different purposes.
Keep it as a sofa during everyday work and transform it into a bed when guests arrive. Designs with integrated storage can provide an additional advantage, giving you space for bedding, pillows or other items you would rather keep out of sight.
The same principle works well in multifunctional rooms, hobby rooms, holiday homes and teenage rooms where available space needs to work harder.
What should you consider when choosing a sofa bed?
Start with how you expect to use it. Will it primarily be a living room sofa with an occasional bed function? A guest bed in your home office? A compact solution for a small apartment? Or a multifunctional sofa where lounging is just as important as sitting and sleeping?
