AI Policy – Transparency Information
Innovation Living uses artificial intelligence (AI) as part of how we create imagery, video and text content, communicate, and develop our products, marketing assets and services. This page explains how we use AI in our marketing and communication, and how we ensure this is done responsibly and transparently, in line with the EU AI Act.
How we use AI in our content
The images, videos and text in our catalogues, on our website, and on our social media are created using a combination of photography, 3D visualisation, AI-assisted image and video production, and AI-assisted copywriting. All AI-assisted content – image, video or text – is reviewed by an employee before publication, who holds editorial responsibility for it.
Imagery and video: Innovation Living uses photography, 3D rendering, stock images and videos alongside AI-assisted production tools. The appearance, materials and dimensions of the products correspond to the actual products being showcased. Environments and any people shown are stylised visualisations created for inspiration, and do not depict specific real places or persons. AI image and video production has been carried out using tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Photoshop, Nano Banana, 3D Studio Max and others.
Text: We use AI tools to help draft and edit marketing copy, product descriptions and other written content.
Why we disclose this way
Under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, providers and deployers of AI-generated or AI-manipulated content must ensure it can be identified as such.
For creative and commercial image and video content such as a product catalogue, Article 50(4) specifically allows this disclosure to be given in a way that does not interrupt the visual experience of the work itself – rather than requiring a visible marking on every individual image or video.
For text content, Article 50(4) requires disclosure mainly where AI-generated text informs the public on matters of public interest and has not undergone human review. As noted above, our marketing copy is always reviewed by an employee before publication – but we disclose our use of AI in writing here too, for consistency and transparency.
We have chosen to disclose our use of AI through this page, with introductory notes in our catalogues, using the colophon text above, together with machine-readable metadata embedded in our digital images. We consider this the approach that best balances transparency with the visual integrity of our creative material.
Our content is not used to make any decision about an individual's rights, services, or opportunities – it is created for marketing and inspiration only.
Responsible use of AI
Our use of AI follows Innovation Living's Hybrid Intelligence principle: AI supports our work, but people make the final decisions, as reflected in the employee review described above. Our approach is further governed by internal policies covering data security, GDPR compliance, and responsible AI use.
