Coming up - imm cologne 2010

Soon it is time for the biggest furniture fair event of the year in Cologne. At Innovation we are busy preparing the new collections that will be presented for the first time at the imm fair in January. The One Rom Living collection will show itself from a more sophisticated side, and the Istyle collection has great, innovative designs to offer. The fair is mainly for professionals, but the 23-24 January it is also open to the public, so please come and visit us! Opening hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day from Tuesday to Sunday. New Media Days

Every year the Danish media and communication industry gets together to learn about and discuss the current media trends. Two full days of inspiring, provocative and eye-opening input from around the world. This year the conference was held 16-17 November in the new Concert Hall designed by Jean Nouvel. The host, the national Danish broadcaster DR, had asked Innovation to arrange a lounge area for the conference participants. The lounge of Quilt Players showed almost too popular, because people had a hard time leaving the comfy seats to join the next session. As result, many chose to remain seated and listen to sessions transmitted on flat screens close to the lounge area. A true win-win situation. WWF support at the Russian Fashion Week

In October our Russian partners supported WWF and the endangered Amur (also known as Siberian) Tiger. The event was held during the Russian Fashion Week, and the WWF booth was fashionably furnished in the colours of the tiger - orange and black - entirely with Innovation design (Splitback sofa beds, Wing Chairs, Combination Tables and magazine holders) . There were many visitors, including Russian celebrities, and hopefully this has drawn attention to the needs of this impressive animal in Far East Russia. The number of tigers is falling primarily due to poaching and habitat degradation.

We are Family - Sustainable and Social

Functionality and sustainability are key in a new design named 'We are Family' that is currently exhibited at the Danish Design Center in Copenhagen. With two simple materials – bamboo and cotton – the designer created a both sustainable and innovative piece of furniture that makes it easy to welcome friends and family, even though space is limited.

Highpoint Fair

From 18-23 October Innovation USA presents the new Home collection at the Highpoint Fair. Among the trends and news in the 2010 collection are wooden armrests - check out Clubber 03, new Classic textiles, perforated leather textiles and unique designs, like the Cubed sofa bed. You can see the entire collection on the new American website.

Guangzhou Fair

From September 6-9 Innovation China showed the new Bohemian and Rebel collections for the Asian market at the 24th CIFF Guangzhou Fair. 280 square meters of modern functional furniture with lots of new designs and creative textiles that were well received by the many Chinese and international visitors.

In October Innovation USA will show their new HOME collection at the High Point Market in North Carolina.

Tendence Expo

From 10-13 September our Czech representation, the company Leonard, is showing Innovation furniture at the Tendence Expo in Prague. Tendence is the most visited interior fair in the Czech Republic and is held every autumn. Many visitors are professionals, but the fair is also open to the public, so come and visit, if you are in the area. The picture below is from last year.
