It was an amazing fair. The new products were once again shown at the Innovation booth in Milan. There was an atmosphere of optimism and joy. People were very enthusiastic about the products and the booth was mostly crowded – in the positive way. If you couldn't visit our stand in Milan personally, we have uploaded a couple of pictures from the fair - enjoy!

The Innovation shop by Aminach in Tel Aviv (Israel) has made an amazing shop-update. With the new name: The Natural Choice, Aminach is “back to the roots” with natural and innovative decoration mixed and matched with the beautiful furniture from Innovation. The renewed shop in Tel Aviv have among other things got wooden floor and kilim rugs, which make a perfect connection to the new The Natural Choice catalogue from Innovation. The 20th of March the Innovation Cup 2011 was held in Nørrebrohallen in Copenhagen. This year 14 teams and a lot of spectators were ready to have some fun and play football. Once again it was a lovely day filled with energy. This year the Innovation team played surprisingly well, but they didn't manage to reach the podium - even though they tried very hard.

The new Scandinavian look in Cologne

It was a great fair that launched the new furniture year in Cologne last week. At Innovation, the regular guests noticed the highly different ambience and the many new designs that were presented. Both the young collection, now called The Natural Choice, and the more classic Istyle collection showed new looks and new mechanism.
The big change this year was a greater focus on cosiness and comfort: More wood, more soft, woven textiles, natural colour tones instead of black and white, warm kilims, cuddly fur and vintage denim.
The new Scandinavian look has taken a step from minimalist to casual, allowing more details and decoration, while still staying true to the light and long-lasting style of the north. See what the German broadcaster ZDF reported from the fair - Innovation is in the picture after 9 minutes.
Denim Couture Collection

The Denim Couture Collection is a joint project of London-based Papillon Design and Innovation.
Papillon Design are Joelle Talmasse and Martyn Gayle, a creative couple with a common mission of bringing couture into interior design. Together with Innovation they have created a dual collection, including both limited edition couture pieces and commercial items. The collection will be presented at the imm cologne fair in January 2011, where you can meet Papillon Design and see how a new design is created.

Golden Key for Innovation

The sofa bed Tripleback received The Golden Key Award at the Belgrade Furniture Fair in November. The award has a 40-year long tradition, and a professional jury of professors, designers and a changing celebrity – this year an actress. The Tripleback design is similar to Splitback, which is the most popular sofa bed of the Istyle collection. New Media Days 2010

Once a year the Danish media business gets together to get inspired, learn about new opportunities and discuss different perspectives related to the use and development of new media. Also this year 800 participants gathered for two days of conference and mingling; this time the event was held in Carlsberg's former production facilities in Copenhagen.
As always, Innovation sponsored a lounge area. This time there were actually two beanbag lounges, which were widely used for networking and relaxing. The lounge was a mixture of different beanbags combined with Leaf tables. The idea was to make a flexible lounge with lots of small unities that the conference guests could move around and reorganise according to their needs. The concept turned out to be a great success and will be repeated in a smaller scale at TEDxCopenhagen next week. Click to see more pictures.
Casa Fair in Tel Aviv

From 18-21 October the company Aminach showed Innovation products from both the Istyle and One Room Living collections at the Casa Fair in Tel Aviv. Visitors were mainly interior designer and architects who showed great interest in the Danish design. Click to see more pictures.
