Innovation Cup 2010

Sunday 21 March the annual Innovation Cup took place in Nørrebro Hallen in Copenhagen. 12 teams and their cheerleaders battled for prizes, glory and not least attention. Those teams who couldn’t win with their football skills compensated with creative outfits, banners and even a megaphone. The challenging Innovation team seemed was very polite and let the guests win most of the matches and the tournament ended as follows:
1. IDEmøbler Glostrup

2. IDEmøbler Virum / Gladsaxe

3. Ilva Lyngby

Last but not least, the 'Joker's Cup' for an extraordinary effort was awarded to Danbo Slagelse, because they let most goal pass through the keepers hand, and raised the level of style by dressing up in shirt and chief tie:

The team from Ilva Greve had the youngest player and made it all the way to the semi-finals:

As already mentioned, the Innovation team did lose, but not without fighting - it's teamleder and organiser of the match Peter Langkilde to the right:
