LASERWORKS DESIGN CONTEST

One challenge, 16 selected teams - ready, set, go! Every team had 5m2 veneer and 24 hours with the laser cutter before the jury could make their vote and point out three winners among the 16 stunning artworks. The creative contest was organised by Keps that is part of the creative working community Republikken in the centre of Copenhagen. Click to see the winning objects and more pictures from the opening.

The second prize goes to "Porous wall" made of 1100 similar, but not identical pieces - there are 25 different versions - and 900 connecting links.

3rd prize for "Mp Tree" a wooden record player that is hooked up to a mp3 player.
